Pay is pretty bad, hopes of becoming a fulltime employee are slim to none and health benefits are so expensive that if you do have opportunity to work fulltime and buy into their health plan you can’t really afford much of anything else right after you do.
Now they schedule their ‘part timers’ to work just enough hours so that they’re legally under a ‘full time’ work week, I guess they realized that it was illegal. With that said, this employee mentioned to them that they felt they deserved fulltime employment because of hard work they put in, including overtime. So, whenever considering employees only work overtime when there’s a sale and it benefits tocompany, pretty sad. Actually, I know there will always be that one person who has a negative outlook on things, and in this case that person is definitely me.
