I liked her gown a lot that I dropped idea of wearing a suit to an upcoming occasion and decided to sport a gown instead.

I started looking for women cocktail dresses online to find a similar dark red gown to wear for my friend’s theme wedding ceremony in Agra. Love girls in snazzy shorts. With that said, thanks very much for sharing these. It’s difficult to think that photos were taken so many years ago.they all look so modern and photos still look so vibrant. All girls look so gorgeous. Nonetheless, I love to40s. I love these! Now look. Vintage photos are always fascinating to me, both on to’history nerd’ level and as curios I picked up an album of late teensearly twenties photos at a tag sale this past weekend and am having a great time going through it doing best in order to come up with narratives to solve all historymysteries photos present.

I just love almost white shoes of woman on right of trio in their day dresses. Actually the style of them means they still look ladylike and demure, despite the fact that two in strappy sandals and shorts are wearing very short shorts. Interestingly, in spite the fact that 1950s are often seen as being a decade filled with youth culture, I’ve always thought that there was a beautifully youthful quality to a lot of looks of to40s, for the most part there’s this particular timelessly wonderful appeal to looks of this era Whether fancy and elegant,, or humble and simple. I’m really loving a certain amount these shorts outfits since mine been in heavy rotation this year already. I was slowly collecting vintage snapshots over years from antique stores and flea markets of everyday styles. Anyways, wonder if I could pull off a similar style with some pattern tinkering?
