I spent exactly 2 hours dress shopping for my dress since I made a 1hour appointment last October and went in with my daughter. I tried on dresses for few minutes, found 3 under $ 300 that I liked and after that was ld to come back after they got in another couple of dresses from identical line in December. I am not intending to lie that the entire wedding dress shopping experience had filled me with dread and the fact that the experience was 2 hours and really quite enjoyable, I hand off completely to The Wedding Party. Consequently, I made another appointment with 2 friends in February, went back for 60 minutes, and found my dress. Now regarding the aforementioned fact… I am a 38F, and I’m only wearing a bra in one of these dresses. This is the case. Free boobin’ all the way.
Biggest thing I learned from this experience.

I am busty lots of options and I went to 5 or 6 appointments thus it’s not like I didn’t have options. I really hated dress shopping. Actually, no dice. I just wanted to add my two cents, To be honest I know I’m late responding to this. Therefore, I squeezed my hips into and zipped up a sample that was a 2 and continued ordering a 6 or 8, I believe. I will also add to the don’t get hung up on the size discussion that, often, the sample gowns been stretched out to some degree. I’m now attempting to sell the Crew dress, that is sitting unworn and unaltered in its fancy box in my closet.
I actually carried on eschewing the Crew dress when the opportunity to get a custom dress from a famous Hong Kong dressmaker slash family friend kind of fell into my lap, and it turned out to be better than I could ever hope for.

I looked at the 1st picture and thought, Hey that looks like the little room at the Wedding Party where you try on dresses and lo and behold! It’s heartbreaking to hear about poor customer service as it really stands to ruin what could have been an awesome experience. Interesting I just know that I loved being a consultant and really enjoyed working with brides.

I just wanted to add my 2 cents about wedding dress shopping that didn’t come up in this post or the comments. I thought it would’ve been awesome to see all the options I had in my area, I was convinced that The One Dress was out there. THIS is the dress! I highly recommend checking out one bridal store, maybe two at the most. I am a comparison shopper by nature, consequently I scheduled two appointments days at 5 different stores with my entire family in tow, and in retrospect I was so grateful to have my rad family there with me, as the five stores turned out to be By the way I agree, the lacy dresses have a way of hugging the body that they look great on curvy girls.

It was more like a lace overlay that went around the dress by the middle and the p part had also a bit more of structure with a lace cover which is what I believe I needed, I’m almost sure I did end up finding a dress with lace. You look great. You see, as I continued rn between THREE different dresses at three different stores, turns out there’s not The One Dress and eventually I carried on in tears on the phone to my fiance over the stress of doing best in order to pick. With that said, world problems, I know. It wasn’t the magical wow moment I thought it my be, in hindsight. Carried on picking a Crew dress that I felt great about. They’ve been making beautiful stuff for a long time. Watters and Watters/WTOO are from Dallas, TX and were on a street I was very familiar with when I lived there. I went to three boutiques in the Pittsburgh area. We left after just a few dresses, we had driven over half an hour to get there and waited around for 30 minutes before we were seen. So, definitely important to get someone carried on at a consignment boutique, that changes the shopping experience a bit. I definitely second having quite similar time and all I kept hearing was. Should have to be taken in 4″, that I’m sure is fairly normal, as I don’t have very unusual proportions. Although, the woman I spoke to on the phone was so friendly and really stressed that they like to be lowkey and low pressure, that I love. As a result, I met someone from the Wedding Party at a bridal expo and she was so relaxed and lovely and I got the feeling that when it was time for me to try on dresses, that was definitely where I wanted to go. Remember, I got exactly quite similar feeling, when I called to make my appointment a couple of weeks ago.
They have zero risk, that for ages being that I don’t look for to get stuck on a number.

Why that the manufacturer says is the most important measurement for this style? So, I’m so worried that my dress doesn’t fit it. Although, need my wedding to be like a church picnic with booze with lawn games and dancing.

What we bought. We went dress shopping, just to look. Then, help? Notice, I seek for wildflowers, vintage y, all that stuff that is almost cliche now, Know what guys, I want all that. I got caught up in the moment and we bought a dress, completely different than what I had envisioned. With that said, it is a great dress. I had envisioned. Like I should have little wings and flutter around I’m worried that now that my dress is fancy everything else has to be fancy. All you have to do is deicide that you will own your dress, and you will look good.
Quite a few brides dream about the moment they find the one, and we’re not talking about the groom.
