Nonetheless, whether you want to believe it or not we are now actually in the run up to Christmas, halloween and bonfire night out the way too, and we know only o well how stressful it can be for everyone, and there just aren’t enough hours in the day. Now they are proving to be as popular as ever yet again, especially for Christmas Gifts. Now pay attention please. That’s why we have extended our opening hours on a Thursday to 7pm and are now opening of a Sunday from 113″ for your extra convenience.

The one article we read, which had the biggest impact on us was in Entrepreneur online magazine and the title was ‘Why You Should Drop The Client Who Demands You Drop The Fee’.

Things were looking good, it was about 8th August and we had a pretty good week in and produced lots of new designs.

Luckily enough there was one place left for a pop up boutique. While taking on the runway at such short notice was lots of added pressure, it was a lot fun too. Oftentimes all in all the event was a success for us. This was a perfect opportunity so jumped at the chance to showcase our new designs on a catwalk with professional photography and the chance to network and meet most of new people in the industry, which we did, we met some really talented lovely people that night as well as some potential new customers. We knew we had the designs to take with us, we just needed same more so decided to take the place and use the opportunity to show off some of our new designs. This was when we met Kirsty, and the day we met her she ld us about the My Liverpool Life Summer Soiree, we ok Helena’s number and decided to give her a call. Did you hear about something like this before? We got to work making various sizes in the designs we had already made all ready for the event, when a few days before the event we got a phone call informing a designer had pulled runway out and to see if we wanted it.

The event turning up at this time was a blessing for us but it also side tracked us from producing new designs, which now means the next few weeks will become 14 hour days instead of like I’ve said, we are very optimistic it will all be worth it.

We let some sneak peak pics out from that night of new designs, we couldn’t resist, especially when MAC Photography was kind enough to release their event images for free for us all to use and share. Notice, each drop bringing a number of new unique designs to suit and fit each and every one of our beautiful customers! The plan is to release the items in 3 drops, one at October start, one at the start of November and one at the start of December. Apart from the ones you’ve all seen there are going to be lots lots more and we can’t wait for you all to see them.

What we decided would work well for everyone, us the restaurant and our guests.

A well-known fact that is. Whenever using the first 45 evening minutes to settle in, have a drink, browse through our products in our pop up shop and mingle with other guests, prosecco and Canapes.

Another question is. Much for blogging on a regular basis eh? High Street. Needless to say, jay met with the owner Faye last week and thrashed out some ideas on how our two businesses could work gether and help each other grow. Manyworking first in conjunction with another new local business 18 High Street. We have a few new projects that we are very very excited about. That’s where it starts getting interestinginteresting, right? Perfect.

We have done quite a bit of research and read loads of articles over the weekend on the subject of ‘pricing’, okay so you might think we’re a bit nerdy. With the exception of a few Grace dresses, for August month we decided not to cover any big projects regarding the made to measure orders, couldn’t refuse them now could we. All of which have reassured us on what we are doing is right. However, as the saying goes ‘He who dares, wins’ and we have taken a gamble in our ‘livelyhood’ by taking on the expansion, but as said before, the entire project was taken on with 100percentage optimism and faith. As our customers or potential customers we would love to open this up for debate and ask you for your feedback on the matter too.

We made a huge sacrifice after summer and closed the boutique for six weeks if you are going to carry out the work necessary for us to be able to offer this extra service, this warm and welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail we are so particular.

We have a formula we use for each and every new design that is made but its fair, very fair virtually. That being said, we take all of this as well as our overheads into consideration when we price our items. While nothing was going to stop us, a sacrifice we didn’t hesitate to make because we were so keen to deliver this service.

I’d much prefer browsing whole experience in different shops and Boutiques that have their own individual character, don’t get me wrong everybody loves a bargain, especially me, but sometimes when it’s thrown in your face to be the cheapest place about, it kind of gets boring and loses its originality, Myself, not that I actually get the chance to go shopping much. We’ve noticed a bunch of people being very organised this year and already making purchases for Christmas and New Years outfits and on p of that buying gifts for friends and family. Although, the work we wanted to be carried out in the shop is all done and dusted and ready for the busiest period year… Christmas.

Thursday is the new Friday, as we all know o well.

The p reason for this is the demand for personal orders preventing us prepare items for the rails, personal orders we are eternally grateful for may I add. Anyways, the rails might be full of all our own designs ready, the reason we decided not to acquire the orders was to concentrate on producing our first full Ready To Wear collection, there and then when a customer walks through the doors. Because at the minute I’ll be honest, it can be quite embarrassing when people come in, after seeing all our designs on Instagram that we produce.
