Referral program is this scam! Stitch fix leaves you with an actual $ 5 credit. With that said, disappointed! I definitely won’t refer a company that treats customers that way. You normally get that $ 20 back anyway, So in case you keep an item. I wish I hadn’t kept them. They take the $ 20 styling fee out of your referral credit. Actually the stripe jersey is a keeper as well. Considering the above said. Something to look forward to. I am pleased with the first attempt by my stylist to find a 5 fun pieces.

Jeans fit perfectly. Basically the coral jacket is also staying. Lesson learned. Love it, the statement cocktail ring is something I would not normally choose. This is where it starts getting really entertaining. The sweater is scratchy and is going back. Must have noted no cashmere on the comments. Of course, I was super, super forthright in my critique of the items they sent to me in hopes that my critique will the aforementioned items back to Stitch Fix. Furthermore, we’ll see! I may just look at the ideas and buy my own items, after that, I know the quality is what I look for.

I do find it difficult to communicate with Stitch Fix on the quality of the items. I am not sure I will do it again. Thus I had another Fix scheduled, while I enjoyed it. I would like to ask you something. Why spend the time and effort of creating a profile if the stylists are just preparing to ignore it? I also set a budget limit and after that promptly received pieces that went above my budget. I decided that Stitch Fix just wasn’t for me and was happy to leave it at that. In most businesses if you are unhappy with the service you can get a refund or at least a voucher for future services. I’m a fairly savvy shopper and this stuff is junk. Just received my first write… Lol…no a stylist isn’t involved.

I’ve never heard of the brands and received three sleeveless items and bold prints.
It’s bulk clothing they put into your write. You have no choice but to send everything back. Furthermore, for any longer being that they still got $ 20 times three, $ 60, and I ofcourse had nothing to show for it. I tried their service three times and three times they failed miserably. This is the case. I have decided that Stitch Fix is a tal scam.. You tell them you’re petite, 5’2″ tall, and they send skirts and dresses that puddle on the floor around your feet that should require you to wear 7 inch heels.
You tell them you never wear sleeveless, they send you sleeveless tops.
You tell them you only wear boot cut jeans they send you skin tight leggings.
Forget about calling customer service, it’s an answering machine and they never call you back. My biggest complaint is that I’ve seen a few of my items on friends and that’s not so great. I detail things like where I’m going so temp and fabric comes into play, what I look for to wear it with, and any absolutely nots. Whenever or twice they’ve sent me something only slightly different than what I’ve already purchased from them. That’s where it starts getting really entertaining. I have used Stitch fix 68″ times and have purchased a minimum of 3 items in almost any write. I’m sure it sounds familiar. I was very specific about my body dimensions AND I only schedule a fix if I have an upcoming trip, event or need a seasonal refresh. Oftentimes the convenience of not traveling to multiple stores AND the costs are reasonable in my mind. Hugely successful in my experience! I’ve gotten everything from dresses, tote/clutch, to jeans, to versatile cardigans, tops, to necklaces and bracelets.
I did mention I was 57, not a frumpy 57 but I am not a 27 year old either.
I wear a size 8.
Only one I item I considered sending back was a scarf. Known the discount far outweighed the cost of the scarf, I’d say in case you keep all five items. You should take this seriously. I thought maybe it was the style??? A well-known fact that is. I have to say, I’m pretty sure I loved about everything I received. Of course I was concerned how clothes would look on my middle age body. Notice that it was well packaged, no wrinkles, etcetera I did receive a sweater wear it looked maybe worn? Wouldn’t that be part of your profile -absolutely no clothes that wrinkle or require ironing, or hand washing……Shopping is for any longer being that so many clothes out there’re barely good for a single season -those off centered for awhile shirts you can’t wear anything for ages being that the tail hangs down, sweaters sporting ridiculously flounced arms, pants surely is able to any better at finding nice looking clothes that may be wearable next year, or in five years.
I can pick out my own greyish ‘tshirts’ any day. For a service like that I will expect to receive clothes you can’t find in any old store by the dozens. Now pay attention for a while and hard for things I feel good wearing AFTER I leave the store. Clothes that actually wrinkle? Those clothes are incredibly ugly!! With that said, I tried it for five months. Basically the first two months were hit or miss. Actually the fifth month was a write of 5 striped t shirts. Who needs that many striped tshirts, I’m almost sure I ask. Then the fourth month included 4 striped shirts and one dress. Just keep reading! The third month, I sent everything back.

In the final 10 pieces they sent me, 9 of 10 were striped ‘tshirts’.
I therefore cancelled. They emailed me back and suggested, in the most condescending ne possible in an email, that I gonna be a bit more descriptive in why I didn’t like something. I kept them all. On p of that, everything fit, and I actually liked 2 or 3 other things and considered keeping them. Normally, I got a pair of pullon skinny jeans. After that, I saw the rates. Now please pay attention. I’ve seen very similar if not quite similar pieces at TJ Maxx for 1/3 of the price. I think minus the $ 20 credit is reasonable for good fitting jeans IMO. I’ll give it a few more tries. Besides, the jeans were worth it. I just got my first write and I’m underwhelmed. Anyway, the rest were 3 ps and a lightweight cardigan. Now regarding the aforementioned fact… Know what, I definitely won’t pay the Stitch fix rates, I guess it serves the purpose of having me try on stuff I rest not a lot.
Its looks to me like lots of you need to be considered stylish but don’t actually like the clothing that is considered stylish.
Research and understanding of yourself really are key and I believe loads of the bad experiences could’ve been avoided with this. I agree with you. With that said, I gave it a try multiple months and kept writing to my stylist about what I was looking for even did the Pinterest page and it was like they just didn’t get it. Was very disappointed. You should take it into account. I think they obviously style for a younger vibrant look. I also think its good to look at the clothing they have on their pinterest and facebook etcetera before deciding to purchase. I think if you are consequently this site should not work for you. Believe it not, I’m pretty sure I am actually planning to try Stitch Fix again… for any longer being that I have Actually a little bit ofTo be honest I want to see if they do, indeed, improve in learning your tastes if you do more than one Stitch Fix shipment and give them really good feedback on what they sent did or didn’t work.

Second fix was just as bad. Did you know that the next fix was even worse! Now look, the few things I did like was the excitement of receiving a package any month and the London jeans are very comfortable. Seriously, one sweater had 1 hem 2 inches thick to the left side and 1 hem 1/2 inch thick to the right side. It in no way feels personalized to a persons style. I do think they buy in bulk and dole out the clothes as pointed out by the SIZES people look for. I have received 5 stitch fix shipments and have kept only 4 items from those 5 writees. Essentially, I have to say, I am utterly disappointed in the quality of the clothing. I may be cancelling this service and saving my $ 20. Basically, paying $ 68 for one blouse you could find at Target for $ 10 isn’t my thing. It’s for any longer being that there’s nothing else available and there must be five items in any write, So if you get something in your write that you specifically said you didn’t seek for.
I can tell you all that the biggest problem with Stitch fix is their inventory.

There I’d say in case there was a bigger inventory. Hopefully someone at Stitch fix will read this and realize that their inventory flat out sucks! In what world is a $ 88 jeans pair the cheapest option? I feel like a single thing that was even remotely on my style list, now this was my one and only try with this company. I won’t be trying this again. Which is what I may be paying for the winter shirt I am purchasing, to wear in a year. Thanks anyway. Notice that it is not my idea of ‘styled’. Back when Stitch Fix first launched, a few of my friends signed up for it and loved it. That was around a year ago and I wasn’t thrilled with what I got in my write. I have found the more specific I am the better. There were 3 items that I really liked, one that was cute but I didn’t need, and one that I didn’t really like. If I only bought the 3 items I really liked I will only be saving $ 3 by the time the 25 discount was applied. They’ve nailed it twice. To be honest I have found that across the board even in retail stores, I’m almost sure I do feel that the clothes are a bit therefore this time I specifically requested fall/winter ps and a cape/tunic and said absolutely no jewelry or dresses. Overall, I’m satisfied and will continue to use it 2x a year. I just received my 3rd stitch fix. Consequently, I mentioned specific colors and really got everything that I asked for.

I have found that quite a few brands that I receive are carried in stores, and the rates are comparable MSRPs. Through Stitch Fix I am able to get items that I can’t get at local stores, Actually I normally hate paying full retail price. You should take it into account. With that said, I have only sent one concern back due to damage so far. That said, my stylist is Chelsi and she is amazing! Therefore this was my favorite thing from the fix. Price tag was really steep for what should amount to glorified t shirt to me. Verdict. So, I didn’t LOVE it and wasn’t sure I will wear it because of the color, I almost kept it. Far I ‘ve for awhile being that I had a gift card and I hated to see it eaten up by $ 20 charges for items that did not work for me whatsoever.
November in a Bohemian style which was amongst the style choices that I marked that I don’t like and a pair of stretch pants which I ‘ve asked them not to send previously. Don ‘t waste your time or your money. I ‘ve asked for business professional clothing but have yet to be sent anything in that style. Actually the most hideous thing I’ve ever seen so no point in trying them on but curious as to why they think they will go w a navy cardigan or pink blouse.
And therefore the skirt was an a line skirt with a retro print on it and a ruffle on the bottom.
I don’t look for to pay $ 240/yr to understand, we’re done, while picks might get better if I stuck it out.

Though I tried to be pretty specific about my likes and dislikes and styles and colors I like and won’t wear, By the way I was horribly disappointed with what I got, and look, there’s no way the truth things I got went w each other. Seriously?? What were they thinking? Of course I think they don’t have petites, professional clothes or things for folks Know what, I paid someone $ 20 to pick this out? Cardigan, that was probably something you could get in the gap or marshalls for $ 2030, was $ 64 so everything went back. Cardigan was nice and was nice color match w pink p but pink p had gathered pleated type area in its middle which was unflattering. Chocolate brownish w dark yellow and orange lines on them in a plaid pattern. I got a grey blazer, grey and almost white skirt, hideous dark brown pants, a navy slouch sweater and a hot pink sleeveless shirt.
Whenever nothing was so nothing fit, though I am less than five foot tall and explained things had to be petites.

I’m a 53 yr old professional, not a 6yr old. I got a couple of very cool pieces and I didn’t have to go anywhere. I am happy. Normally, I will wait to see what comes next month. I gave them a link to my style and they actually get where I am coming from. Some information can be found easily on the internet. I ld them I don’t look for one offs and I look for to pair the things I get with other things I have. I got my first stitch fix and I was kind of shocked. Fact, I actually liked all 5 pieces. We shall see. Fact, the clothes were not worth anything near the cost.

I was so excited for it to arrive but was deeply disappointed with my stitchfix shipment. They’ve been cheap and seemed very impersonal. This is the case. I received 3 ps and two pants pairs. Everything was $ 58 or over, I’m almost sure I specified the least expensive price range. For awhile because I was really curious, I would not recommend stitch fix solely depending on the fact that the clothes are not a decent quality… Not even to mention they are not in line closely enough with the style I asked for, I’m glad I tried it out. Certainly, I ate the $ 20 styling fee and promptly cancelled my auto fix. Yes, that’s right! I think I will rather splurge on something that I can pick out myself than gamble away $ 20 for they have been nothing I had on my Pinterest really.
I feel like those who don’t really like that service expect way to much from it.
I mean comments like I’m pretty sure you have a hard time shopping as is therefore if you need everything to cover your arms. Of course the color/fit and suchlike things they can only do very much. I have subscribed to Stitch fix for almost 2 years. Just think for a moment. I love the jeansthey been a perfect fit. Yes sometimes items do not fit right or it’s not in my price range but I make it a point to keep one or two items every month and it has paid off. My work wardrobe has grown significantly over time. I also enjoy the convenience of trying on the clothes in the premises since I have a 4 year old and that’s exactly what makes it impossible to shop and seriously try on clothes. I got a pair of skinny jeans, two comfortable lounging shirts, an amazing side zip sweater and a pair of dark brown ankle boots.
I carried on keeping the ankle boots though since keeping all items gave me a discount that was like getting them for free so even if I don’t wear them much, I won’t feel any regret.
Overall, my experience was great but with a tal amount spent of $ 220 for only 5 items, so this will be an once or twice a year treat for myself.
I received my first stitch fix about a month ago and kept everything they sent me! Remember, only one thing that I was not amazed to see in my fix were the for ages being that they had a heel and I specifically unchecked the write that for a while being that I like to wear more comfortable shoes. I did create a fashion board on Pinterest that I linked to my profile as well as a very indepth message about what I wanted to see in my stitch fix which both may have helped it to be wonderful for me. I guess I like a slightly looser look and therefore, their styles might be geared for younger, leaner women.

My sister in law was raving about Stitch Fix last night after I complimented her on the skirt she was wearing. Although, she’s received two writees so far and is happy. You see, I also agree that it’s highly unlikely that every customer has a personal stylist. However, By the way I was curious about this company so wanted to see what SF reviews had to say, This doesn’t sound like a service I need since I A) have time to shop B) live in an area with loads of nice clothing shops and malls C) know how to style myself. Oftentimes this thing is not really feasible. Nobody must pay that much for a service with that many misses every month and for clothing that’s poor quality. Light weight none fit for one reason or another! They are I’m quite sure I asked for everything to cover my arms, liked it, it fit. All of which I have prominent on others boards for the last year! One dress which again was made by stitch, grey no sleeves. Have you heard of something like that before? That’s NOT it! Basically, the cost of the dress was $ 59 dot 00 very thin material and had loose threads. I shouldn’t be wasting my time or money even if it’s $ 20 dot 00 for someone to just through stuff in a write and send it to me! Now I sent all of my measurements, recommendations, likes etcetera I received a pair of pants which where nice but in general!
I do have the advantage to be able to go out and shop for myself and love doing it!

I loved the dresses the pants and the shirts so far amyway. I got the glorified tshirt in light green and was not planning to pay $ 60 for a tshirt. I can buy 5 items like that for $ 50 the way I shop. It was planning to cost nearly $ 200 to buy all 5 items. Everything was oversized and ugly. So, I hated my Stitch Fix items. I’m pretty sure I washed them once and I believe they shrunk up a bit, the jeans are great.

They shrunk a bit. I have a larger chest and shirts sometimes don’t fit correctly on me. This is the case. I loved my write although every item didn’t fit and I also had the jackets they sent already. Be completely honest with them don’t fudge your numbers and you may receive better fits. I think you have to be open to the fact that so that’s a stranger who is going purely off measurements that you enter. I also understand that I am short and struggle with for awhile every now and again. Notice, they encouraged me to give Stitch Fix another try.

I think Stitch Fix is only a hit with those who aren’t picky about shopping and don’t have a strong anticipation of style since you are essentially relying on stylists, who don’t personally know you that well and are only going off of a style survey you filled out which is designed to be easy to use as well as give standardized data easy for the stylist to interpret, to dress you. Stitch Fix isn’t really a service for fashionistas or even people who have a strong opinion about what clothes to wear. That’s interesting right? Instead, And so it’s a great service for those who need style guidance, in a similar vein to someone on What Not to Wear.
I can’t recommend Lands’ End enough, as for highquality items.
So there’re so many great clothing companies out there.
They appeal to a younger demographic way more every year and even sell workout clothing now. Besides, don’t settle for something sub par that wastes your for awhile being that it’s hyped and also you like being surprised. Remember, explore! Some web sites to check are eshakti, Asos, Modcloth, and litographs. Their customer service and return policy also can’t be beat. Inc, Athleta, and Title Nine also sell excellent clothing. I will encourage you to try Etcetera! With many different styles to appeal to the different tastes of their clientele, Etcetera’s clothes are classy, well made.
I can’t imagine the time I will have wasted getting and returning items while she climbed the learning curve of my particular style, if Etcetera’s business model was like Stitch Fix.
I also love the relationship I have built with my stylist and I never feel badly if I leave without purchasing.
II love having a stylist who gets my immediate feedback as I peruse the collection privately with her in her home. Eventually, she even has my husband’s email and he sometimes surprises me with something from my wish list. Usually, had not for ages being that I usually wore it for an evening and after that hung it back up. Now let me tell you something. Fast forward 4 weeks. I’m sure that the sleeves are showing signs of like fur balls? Then again, poor quality. Sweater which I really liked -I wore 2 -3 times.
