I went to Huntington Tea Room with 3 buddies past week and it was lovely!
It’s solely $ 35 per person, and food, tea and atmosphere have greatly improved. Basically the whole experience has usually been a lot classier than before. I’m a longtime garden member and the revamp was long overdue! Needless to say, I’ve usually made reservations to go back in January. Did you know that the servers even replenished my favorites and got me 1 extra plates of salmon and chicken sandwiches! Personally we feel a buffet has no place at a Afternoon Tea service, be it a traditionary or a modern interpretation. Obviously, I much like the modern freshly made food to bread sticks and salad under heat lamps. I likewise think the Chado should have been included. And so it’s a solid tea for a solid price. Better thence Langham and the sad, money grab of a replacement at Huntington. I miss the buffet. I guess tea service needed to be at least $ + a person to get on this list. If you always were in Pasadena absolutely visit Huntington Gardens but after that, leave and do tea at Chado in downtown Pasadena. You should get this seriously. Chado beats them all and three lovely locations to boot!
