The weekend is here! Previous nighttime kicked off the celebrations for the brother’s nuptial weekend and we could not be more excited to keep the celebrations going through Sunday. On top of that, we are relishing in the time together, it’s a rare occasion to have your huge housekeeping all together in one place. Past evening we celebrated your good aunt’s 89 birthday with a yummy cake from Magnolia bakery. On top of that, talk about a BIG birthday and milestone. Ultimately! It is Thursday and I get to make my method to Chicago for my brother’s marriage! I just can not wait to see my younger brother marry such an amazing individual. Feeling so lucky that familyisexpanding and that we get to celebrate this awesome love.
The reception was at a Chicago library and the tables at the cocktail hour were adorned withpeonies and a fewadorable quotesfromauthors.
This was one of my favorites and I feel like I had to share. We are all a little weird, life’s a little weird, and when we look for somebody whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call itlove. Of course pass me a tissue, ok? That’s right! We looove a proper bit of chambray. Chambray is a lighter weave and very often a lot lighter in terms of weight and color…making it perfect for the hotter summer months, unlike very true denim. What makes this chambray shirt by Splendid exceptional is that it is printed with delicate floral blooms. Normally we will not be so in seeing a dense print on such a classic style of shirt but the whitewashed flowers are perfect kind compliment forthe ‘utilitarianinspired’ details of the shirt.

to start the celebrations for the brother’s bridal! Chicago is definitely a peculiar city as we grew up traveling there mostly and now it’s a place I love to visit -some of my pretty best acquaintances call it home -and this is the ideal time of year to go. It seems fairly fitting that it’s where such a momentous occasion for the household now is held. Will not wait to kick off the festivities and fun!
