Accordingly a hopeful note appeared in May when Levi’s debuteda prototype of jeansin partnership with the textile technology startup Evrnu, made with a mix of virgin and chemically recycled cotton from old Tshirts.
There’s no timeline available yet for when these jeans will be available.
Hey, do not know what percent of the denim was the recycled cotton, they never tested the jeans. As a result, evrnu says its technology ain’t sensitive to certain dyes, and it hopes to eventually make jeans from 100 percent ‘post consumer’ cotton waste.
